Pre-sale · Weekly Money-Pain Verdicts
Know what to build next — with a kill switch.
For English-market indie and 1–3 person bootstrap teams who can ship the code — and stall on whether the pain is worth it. Each week: exactly three verdict cards. Evidence in. Decision out.
$19/month founding rate for the first 50. First issue ships when 25 founders are in — or when the waitlist is clear if Stripe is not wired yet.
Who it’s for
You can ship. Choosing is the stall.
Built for English-market indie founders and 1–3 person bootstrap crews. If you already write production code and still burn weeks picking a bet, this is the weekly brief.
-
Ship-ready, decision-stuck
You have the stack. You do not need another tutorial. You need a graded bet with an exit.
-
Tiny teams, English demand
Solo or 1–3 people selling into English-speaking markets. No enterprise committee. No agency bench.
-
Evidence over vibes
You want links, a money score, and a kill-if — not a swipe file of “hot spaces.”
What you get each week
Exactly three Money-Pain Verdict cards. Nothing else.
Not a feed. Not a dashboard. Three briefs you can act on — or throw away — before Friday.
-
01
Job
The concrete job a buyer is hiring done. Named tightly enough to test in 72 hours.
-
02
Pain grade
vent / workaround / already paying. Only the last two survive a GO.
-
03
Money score 0–100
Willingness-to-pay signal, not a TAM slide. Low score is a feature — it saves you a quarter.
-
04
Competitor wedge
Where incumbents are loud and still miss. If there is no wedge, the card says so.
-
05
Evidence links
Primary sources: threads, reviews, interviews. You can open them. We do not paraphrase the internet.
-
06
Verdict · GO / WATCH / KILL
One call. A KILL is the product working. It is cheaper than a half-built repo.
-
07
72h test + kill-if
A next action with a numeric abort. If the test misses, you stop. No “one more sprint.”
-
08
First-10 cold-start
How to reach the first ten buyers without an audience or a launch video.
What we refuse to do
If you want a list, this is the wrong room.
- Not an idea list. No 50-row swipe files. Three graded bets, or silence.
- Not a SaaS directory. We do not rank tools. We grade whether a job is worth your next month.
- Not a Reddit paste tool. Threads are evidence, not the product. We score pain and money, then call it.
- Not a heavy dashboard. No charts to babysit. A short email. Three cards. A kill switch.
Founding rate
First 50 founders
$19/month
Lock the founding rate. The first issue ships when 25 founders subscribe. If Stripe is not wired yet, the waitlist is the queue — you are not charged until checkout exists.
- Exactly 3 Money-Pain Verdict cards / week
- GO / WATCH / KILL plus a 72-hour kill-if
- Founding price held for the first 50 seats
Stripe keys are not live on this page. Checkout stays a placeholder until issue 1.
FAQ
Short answers.
When does the first issue ship?
When 25 founders subscribe. If Stripe is not wired, the waitlist is the count — issue 1 goes out once that list is clear at 25, or as soon as checkout is live and 25 have paid.
What is a Money-Pain Verdict?
A single card that names a job, grades the pain (vent / workaround / already paying), scores money 0–100, states the competitor wedge, cites evidence, and calls GO, WATCH, or KILL — with a 72-hour test, a kill-if, and a first-10 path.
Why only three cards a week?
Three is enough to pick a bet and still have room to kill two. A longer list turns back into the same indecision this is meant to end.
Is this a newsletter of product ideas?
No. The slogan is a kill switch, not a prompt pile. If the evidence cannot support a decision, the card is a KILL.
Who should not join?
Teams hunting a directory of tools, a Reddit scraper, or a dashboard. Also anyone who wants more than three bets a week. That is out of scope.
